Quality of Service (QoS) and policy-based routing (PBR) allow ensuring optimal handling of traffic flows. VyOS supports a stateful firewall for both IPv4 and IPv6 including zone-based firewalls, as well as multiple types of NAT (one to one, one to many, many to many).

The edge gateway solution includes a wide variety of wired and wireless connections, including serial connections.
